 Alex brings more than twenty years of operating and investing experience across the energy and industrial technology ecosystem. He has held senior executive and commercial leadership roles spanning AI-powered energy analytics, industrial AI for oil & gas, and enterprise sustainability at global scale — including leading commercial growth for Microsoft's Energy business, advising Microsoft's $1B Climate Innovation Fund, and serving as CEO of a venture-backed industrial AI company. He co-founded two energy data businesses acquired by S&P Global and Wood Mackenzie.

As an investor, Alex co-founded Unconventional Capital, a proprietary investment platform through which he has built, backed, and exited early-stage companies across energy and industrial technology — including de novo company creation, round structuring, and realized exits to strategic acquirers.
